BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 10. Azerbaijan
provided significant assistance to Iran during the war.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said this during a press
conference in Tehran.
Pezeshkian announced an improvement in relations with Baku and
specifically noted Azerbaijan’s assistance during the war.
According to him, after the negotiations, transport routes were
restored, as well as the work of the Iranian bank and embassy.
“During the war, they helped us significantly with various
routes—whether for Russia’s supplies or their own—they accompanied
and assisted us with whatever we needed. Iraq is the same,”
Pezeshkian said.
