Q1 results live: APL Apollo Tubes board approves shared services venture, takes note of Sikandrabad plant consolidation

APL Apollo Tubes Limited board approved participation in the proposed incorporation of a Group Shared Services Company (SSC), with an investment of up to 20 per cent of its equity share capital for an amount not exceeding ₹1 crore. Upon incorporation, the SSC is expected to qualify as an Associate Company of APL Apollo Tubes. The proposed entity will provide common corporate support services to participating group companies through a centralised shared services model. The Finance Committee of the Board was authorised to execute all necessary steps to operationalise the proposal.

The board also took note of a separate decision by Apollo Metalex Limited (AML), a material subsidiary of the company, to rationalise its manufacturing operations. AML plans to consolidate production from its A-25 unit at Sikandrabad, Uttar Pradesh, into other group manufacturing facilities, and will consequently dispose of the land and building at that unit. The company stated the move is aimed at improving capacity utilisation, reducing operating costs, and freeing up capital for core manufacturing and growth. APL Apollo said the consolidation will be phased and is not expected to affect overall production volumes or customer commitments.

On the financial front, consolidated revenue from operations for the June 2026 quarter stood at ₹5,606.71 crore, compared to ₹5,169.77 crore in the same quarter last year. Net profit for the quarter came in at ₹263.11 crore against ₹237.17 crore a year ago.

Q1 results live: Sarda Energy Q1 profit drops 17.5% on weaker operations; Board approves ₹1,000 crore debt raise

Sarda Energy & Minerals Ltd reported a standalone net profit of ₹318.57 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, a decline of roughly 17.5 per cent compared to ₹386.05 crore in the same quarter last year.

Standalone total income fell to ₹1,232.55 crore from ₹1,377.47 crore in Q1 FY26, while revenue from operations came in at ₹1,162.54 crore against ₹1,307.09 crore a year ago. Total expenses declined to ₹808.45 crore from ₹866.93 crore. Basic earnings per share stood at ₹9.04, down from ₹10.96 in the year-ago period.

On a consolidated basis, the company fared better. Net profit attributable to the owner stood at ₹458.25 crore, up from ₹434.36 crore in Q1 FY26, aided partly by ₹110.21 crore in net positive impact from recognition of additional revenue and interest income related to the Sikkim Hydropower project following regulatory approval of its final project cost.

Among segments, the Power division was the standout performer on a standalone basis, with segment profit of ₹312.92 crore, up sharply from ₹173.55 crore in the previous quarter ended March 2026, though lower than ₹377.44 crore in Q1 FY26. Steel and Ferro Alloys segments both saw year-on-year profit declines.

The board also approved seeking shareholder consent to raise funds up to ₹1,000 crore through debt instruments. The record date for dividend payment for FY 2025-26 has been fixed at August 14, 2026.

Q1 results live: D-Link India posts 13% revenue jump in Q1 FY27, profit rises to ₹2,761 lakh

D-Link (India) Limited on Saturday reported a consolidated revenue from operations of ₹45,696 lakh for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, up approximately 30 per cent from ₹35,016 lakh in the same quarter last year. Net profit for the quarter stood at ₹2,760.65 lakh, compared to ₹2,437.52 lakh in Q1 FY26, a year-on-year rise of around 13 per cent.

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations came in at ₹45,534 lakh against ₹34,844 lakh in the year-ago period. Standalone net profit was ₹2,740.44 lakh, up from ₹2,402.11 lakh a year earlier. Basic and diluted earnings per share on a standalone basis stood at ₹7.72 for the quarter.

Total consolidated expenses for the quarter rose to ₹42,452 lakh from ₹32,284 lakh in Q1 FY26, largely driven by higher purchases of stock-in-trade at ₹40,202 lakh. Profit before tax on a consolidated basis was ₹3,716.80 lakh.

The company disclosed a pending customs dispute in which the Commissioner of Customs, Mumbai, raised a demand of ₹611.49 lakh, contending that royalty payments to parent D-Link Corporation, Taiwan, should have been included in the assessable value of imported goods. D-Link India has challenged this order before CESTAT, Mumbai.

The company operates in a single business segment — networking products and related services. Its paid-up equity share capital remains unchanged at ₹710.10 lakh. Investor results are available at investors.dlink.co.in.

Q1 results live: Celebrity Fashions posts Q1 loss, flags US Tariff impact on revenue

Celebrity Fashions Limited reported a net loss of ₹2.37 crores for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, narrowing from a loss of ₹6.73 crores in the same quarter last year, according to unaudited financial results approved by its board on Saturday.

Revenue from operations fell sharply to ₹26.42 crores in Q1 FY27, down from ₹40.67 crores in Q1 FY26 — a decline of about 35 percent year-on-year. Total income for the quarter stood at ₹27.13 crores against ₹40.70 crores a year ago.

The Chennai-based garment maker attributed a significant portion of the revenue pressure to US import tariffs imposed from April 2, 2025. To retain existing customers, the company extended additional discounts and price reductions totalling ₹3.55 crores during the quarter. The company noted that even though the US authorities subsequently withdrew the additional tariff and related penalties, major customers did not reverse the discounts already negotiated, leaving Celebrity Fashions to absorb the impact.

Total expenses for the quarter declined to ₹29.50 crores from ₹47.43 crores a year earlier, reflecting lower material costs and employee benefit expenses. Employee costs stood at ₹10.77 crores, down from ₹18.65 crores in Q1 FY26.

The company’s auditors, SRSV & Associates, flagged a material uncertainty related to going concern, noting accumulated losses of ₹57.31 crores as of June 30, 2026. However, the auditors said they obtained sufficient evidence to establish continuance of the company as a going concern and did not modify their conclusion.

Basic and diluted earnings per share stood at a loss of ₹0.37 for the quarter, compared to a loss of ₹1.13 per share in the corresponding period last year.

Q1 results live: Nilkamal Q1 FY27 profit jumps 145% despite revenue dip

Nilkamal Limited reported a sharp recovery in profitability for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, even as revenue declined year-on-year. The Board of Directors approved the unaudited standalone and consolidated financial results at its meeting held on August 1, 2026.

On a standalone basis, profit before tax and profit after tax rose 145 per cent to ₹31 crore and ₹23 crore respectively, compared to ₹13 crore and ₹10 crore in the same quarter last year. EBITDA grew 39 per cent to ₹80 crore. Net sales, however, fell 8 per cent to ₹799 crore from ₹864 crore in Q1 FY26.

On a consolidated basis, net sales stood at ₹820 crore against ₹883 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Consolidated PAT came in at ₹24 crore, up from ₹15 crore a year ago.

The company attributed the revenue decline largely to a 37 per cent volume drop in its Business-to-Business segment, caused by a significant rise in raw material costs — approximately 50 per cent — since March 2026, driven by global geopolitical developments and supply chain disruptions. Through proactive price increases and product mix adjustments, value degrowth was contained at 10 per cent.

The Retail and E-commerce segment provided a counterbalance, growing 13 per cent to ₹104 crore. E-commerce alone grew 22 per cent, while retail stores expanded 6 per cent. The segment turned profitable, posting an EBIT of ₹1.68 crore against a negative EBIT of ₹9.5 crore in the prior year. As of June 30, 2026, Nilkamal operated 100 retail stores.

Within the B2B segment, the Mattress and Foam business grew 49 per cent and Ready Furniture rose 20 per cent, partially offsetting declines in Plastic Furniture, Material Handling, and Bubbleguard.

Net borrowings fell significantly to ₹116 crore as on June 30, 2026, from ₹331 crore a year earlier. CARE Ratings reaffirmed its long-term rating of CARE AA Stable and short-term rating of CARE A1+ for the company.

Revenue from operations stood at ₹2,071.04 million, compared to ₹2,199.06 million a year ago. On a consolidated basis, net profit came in at ₹733.50 million against ₹700.63 million in Q1 FY26, with consolidated revenue from operations at ₹2,684.32 million.
