FTG’s presence will play a pivotal role in strengthening domestic and export supply chains in India
Firan Technology Group Corporation (FTG) set up its first manufacturing facility in India at the GMR Aerospace & Industrial Park, Hyderabad.
The new facility, developed as a customised Built-to-Suit (BTS) facility, will focus on the production of advanced avionics and cockpit interface electronics, supporting global aerospace and defence programmes.
“FTG’s presence will play a pivotal role in strengthening domestic and export supply chains, advancing indigenisation, and further positioning Hyderabad as a leading hub for aerospace and industrial innovation,” Aman Kapoor, CEO, GMR Airport Land Development said in a release on Monday.
Strategic Milestone
Brad Bourne, President & CEO, FTG Corporation said: “Opening our first facility in India is a strategic milestone for FTG. India’s deep engineering talent, fast-growing aerospace and defence sector, and strong support for manufacturing make it a natural next step in our global expansion.”
FTG’s entry into India represents its expansion into its fourth global manufacturing geography, following Canada, the United States and China.
It is engaged in the design and manufacturing of high-reliability printed circuit boards and avionics subsystems, catering to the aerospace, defence, and space sectors.
