Pavel Talankin, the co-director of Mr Nobody Against Putin, spoke with Current Time about his film shortly after it won the Oscar for best documentary on March 15. Days after the Oscar win, Russia banned the movie and designated Talankin a “foreign agent.” Talankin called the ban a “brilliant promotional campaign” for the film.
