Tata Communications on Friday launched three AI-ready suite of platforms and solutions for enterprises. Speaking to businessline, the company said it will significantly bring down traffic costs and latency periods.

The offerings include multi cloud network IZO+, Edge Distribution Platform, and ThreadSpan that remove silos and simplify operations and embed trust across the digital continuum. As AI moves from pilot projects to the core of business decision-making, enterprises must adapt infrastructure in preparation of AI ambitions, said the company officials.

The first platform gives organisations control over how data moves, performs and costs, the second platform reduces latency enables faster responses and real-time digital experiences. The third platform brings clarity and control to complex digital environments by providing a unified view across hybrid and multi-vendor networks. It combines visibility, manageability, security, and automation across network, cloud and security domains.

“All the platforms are addressing the problem of complexity. Multicloud network is highly complex and manual today. They leave the cloud connections open which means there are unintended cost. There are cost leakages,” said AS Lakshminarayanan, MD & CEO, Tata Communications.

The platforms also reduce latency shortening the time for a task that might take a month to to a few hours. According to Natarajan Sivasamban, EVP & Global Operations Head, the solutions can change industry definitions such as mean time to repair (MTTR) to mean time to revenue instead of talking about mean time to tickets.
