The first ticket to Santa Clara will be booked this afternoon in Denver.

The top-seeded Denver Broncos take on the No. 2 New England Patriots in the AFC Championship Game this afternoon, with kickoff at 3 p.m. ET from Empower Field at Mile High. It will be classic football weather today in Denver, with a high of 26 degrees, according to FOX Weather, and a chance of light snow during the game.

The Broncos are without quarterback Bo Nix, who broke his ankle late in their win over the Buffalo Bills last week. The Patriots, meanwhile, are thriving after convincing wins over the Los Angeles Chargers and Houston Texans to reach this round – and those were without quarterback Drake Maye at his best.

Follow along today with coverage from FOX Sports’ Ralph Vacchiano.
