Several airlines are launching – or continuing – flights from Switzerland to UK destinations this year, including a new one from Zurich.
SWISS, which already flies to several destinations in Great Britain, including London, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Newcastle, will offer increased services to London Gatwick and Manchester from its Zurich hub this year.
From Geneva, the national airline will continue to operate flights to four London airports – Healthrow, Gatwick, City, and Stansed– as well as to Manchester.
As for SWISS’ sister airline, Edelweiss, announced this week it is also adding a new UK destinations to its summer 2026 timetable
From May 29th to September 14th, it will fly from Zurich to Glasgow every Monday and Friday.
Edelweiss already flies to other UK cities as well, such as Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, and Newquay.
Other UK-bound flights
Among the most prolific airlines operating on this route is EasyJet, which flies from Zurich to Manchester, from Basel EuroAIrport to London Luton, and from Geneva to Leeds/Bradford
British Airlines, on the other hand, connect Zurich, Geneva, and Basel to London Heathrow and Gatwick.
