In the discussion after a screening of documentaries about Ukrainian children, a translator burst into tears while interpreting the speech of 11-year-old Roman Oleksiv from Lviv. The boy survived a Russian missile strike in Ukraine’s city of Vinnytsya. The July 2022 strike killed Oleksiv’s mother.
