Turkey State Oil Firm Plans $4 Billion Debt as It Boosts Output

Turkey plans to increase gas output at the main Black Sea field, Sakarya, to 45 million cubic meters per day in 2028 from the current 9.5 mcm, Bayraktar said. Oil production in Gabar rose to 81,000 barrels per day this year from 57,000 in 2024. TPAO is also planning to develop unconventional reserves in the area with US-based Continental Resources, Inc. and TransAtlantic Petroleum Ltd.
