Despite the offensive weapons in both lineups, this game was largely controlled by the Micah Parsons-led Packers defense, and the Eagles’ elite, championship-level defense. The units helped give this low-scoring contest the added distinction(?) of turning in the first scoreless MNF first half since Browns vs. Ravens in 2009.
The Eagles (7-2) already appear to be running away with the NFC East crown, and have now further distanced themselves from the pack. But, for the Packers (5-3-1), the loss (and mounting injuries) could potentially disrupt their season with the Lions (6-3) and Bears (6-3) nipping at their heels.
