During the span of his career, the Italian fashion designer Giorgio Armani developed a cult following with big names including Beyoncé and Liam Neeson.

Back in 2007, Beyoncé described how she felt “fabulous” at 16 wearing her first Armani. “It’s a girl’s dream ,” she said at the time.

Model Naomi Campbell had praised the designer’s take on fashion. “He does what he wants, he doesn’t follow trends,” she told the press in 2007.

Giorgio Armani passed away aged 91. He was the archetype of Italian style and elegance, reimagining men’s and women’s suits for a modern audience.
