Russia launched air strikes on Ukraine in the early hours of August 28, hitting Kyiv with drones and missiles, causing multiple deaths. Survivors of the attacks on the Ukrainian capital dug through debris and looked for missing loved ones as rescuers continued their searches for survivors. Ukraine’s air force reported nearly 600 drones and 31 missiles hit at least 13 locations.
