The NBA season is underway, which means it’s time to dive into the regular-season MVP market.

As the winner of the NBA’s most coveted award in three of the last four seasons, Nikola Jokic will look to make history by winning four out of five.

Celtics legend Bill Russell won four out of five from 1960-61 to 1964-65, and LeBron James did the same between 2008-09 and 2012-13.

Those are the only two names to accomplish the feat in league history.

Jokic opened the season at +400 to win the award, and through six games, he is top-five in the league in points, rebounds and assists.

Still, his odds have lengthened considering his Nuggets are 3-3 in those six games.

Let’s take a look at the NBA MVP odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Nov. 4.

2024-25 NBA MVP odds:

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: +250 (bet $10 to win $35 total)
Luka Doncic: +300 (bet $10 to win $40 total)
Jayson Tatum: +500 (bet $10 to win $60 total)
Nikola Jokic: +800 (bet $10 to win $90 total)
Anthony Edwards: +900 (bet $10 to win $100 total)
Anthony Davis: +1400 (bet $10 to win $150 total)
Giannis Antetokounmpo: +2200 (bet $10 to win $230 total)
Jalen Brunson: +3000 (bet $10 to win $210 total)

Luka Doncic sat atop the oddsboard when the season began, but now there is a new leader in OKC’s SGA.

Gilgeous-Alexander finished second to Jokic in MVP voting last season, and through six games, his Thunder are 6-0, including a 15-point win over Jokic’s Nuggets on opening night, a division rival.

As of Monday, SGA is averaging 26.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and 6.5 assists.
